Biographies
Alexander - I am Alex Snow, a twelfth grade student at OHS. I got my inspiration to do my project after having the experience of making aspirin in a first year lab at UNB.
Caitlin - I am a 12th grade student from Oromocto High School who has a passion for science. My inspiration for my project stems from the experience of being able to do a 1st year ASA synthesis lab at UNB. My extracurricular activities include science fair, tech crew and Team New-Brunswick Archery. Next year I will be working towards a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at UNB.

Abstract:The project involves deriving Acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) from salicin, a product extracted from the bark of the white willow. The project also includes concentration and purity information from titration and mass-spec g-c analysis charts.
