My two big goals in life are to constantly learn and self-improve, as well as helping others in any way I can and to the best of my ability. I was born in China and immigrated to Canada when I was almost nine years old. This allows me to truly be the best of what both cultures have to offer. In line with my goal of self-improvement, I am a very busy person. I am Yearbook Editor at my school of almost 2000 students, I am conducting researching at U of C with Dr. Surette regarding cystic fibrosis (our project), I am part of the Swim & Dive team, I have volunteered weekly at the Public Library for the past three years, and I am a Certificate IB student. Those are just a small sample of what I do each day. My life hobby, however, is art, because I love the freedom of expressing myself creatively. In the fall, I will begin my post-secondary education at the University of Pennsylvania studying Bioengineering. I can't wait. |
