SpongeBob's Nemesis Plankton: Evil Genius or Omega-3 Super-producer?

The growth conditions were varied to observe which produced ideal yields of omega-3. Chaetoceros muelleri, and Isochrysis galbana Tahiti strain were the two species used. The final results proved that TISO contains the greatest quantity of omega-3, and growing it at 21 C with nutrient concentration of F/2 provided the greatest quantity of omega-3. |
