| My name is John Ivanco, I am in grade 8 and I go to Oakville Christian School. I play a variety of sports as part of my school, but at this time, I only have one outside league, which is soccer. I skateboard, at least once every day. I am very good at math and I do well in a lot of subjects. I am interested in careers such as earth sciences and environmental solutions to problems. I got a variety of awards at the BASEF science fair in 2008 and 2009 and I am excited about going to the CWSF. |

A solar charging system was set up to charge the batteries and measurements were taken to calibrate the charging system as well as the performance of the car. The results were extrapolated to a real car that weighs 1,200 kg and a cost/benefit analysis was done to determine if this was practical for the average person. |
