| I am a grade nine student at St Mary's High School in Owen Sound, Ontario. I was home schooled until Grade Four. I am a French Immersion student, and have been ever since Grade Four. I have been on the school honor roll every year. I am involved in numerous musical groups in my community and I play the trombone. I am interested in music and the study of music, as well as Scientific Research and the like. In regards to post secondary education, I would like to major in music and minor in neurology, before attending medical school. My ideal career would be a neurologist or a neurosurgeon. |

The vast majority of test subjects responded positively to the test with classical music and approximately two thirds of the volunteers responded correctly during the silence and the rock music tests. It was concluded that classical music can improve the brain function of humans of both genders and various ages. |
