Biographie
Hello, my name is Kathleen Orrell. I am sixteen years old, and attend Riverview Rural High School in Sydney, NS. My hobbies include music, sports, traveling, and reading. I play piano, and I will be playing my grade 10 RCM exam next summer. For my school band, I play clarinet. This year, I played AAA soccer for my school team. We finished first in our region, and fourth in the province. One of my passions is traveling-my favorite destination is Hawaii. I enjoy nothing better than to read a Jeffrey Deaver mystery novel. My other favorite authors include, Truman Capote and Stephen King. Following high school, my dream would be to go into medicine and become a surgeon of some sort. My most notable awards include highest aggregate in grades 7 and 9, playing grades 2, 4-9, with first class honors in piano, completing music theory (preliminary rudiments, grade 1 and 2) with first class honors with distinction, and getting accepted into the Shad Valley program this year. And of course, taking part in the CWSF this year.
