Biography
I came to Canada at the age of 7. Ever since I was a young child, I was fascinated by science. I would gaze at the stars in awe, curiously inspect fossils, trying to figure out what I could about anything and everything. Now, at the age of 17, little has changed. I still have a passion for science, especially biology, and it has enriched my life so much. However, it is not my only interest. During my spare time, I enjoy playing any sort of sports. I play varsity water polo at my school, was on the swim team, and am currently training in mixed martial arts. One of my favourite hobbies is just working out because it is so satisfying. I am also a lifeguard/swimming instructor at my community centre. As a lifeguard, I have made several rescues and have been acknowledged for it. In the future, I plan on pursuing my interests and hopefully entering the field of sports medicine.
