Biography
My name is Tegan Wiebe and I am currently a grade 12 student at W.C. Eaket. Next year I will hopefully be attending the University of McGill to begin an education for a career in architecture. I hope to eventually study or work abroad, as I discovered my love of architecture on a family trip to Norway. My passions are vast and numerous. I enjoy mountain biking, tennis, basketball, photography, and playing the piano. In the past two years I have competed at the OFSAA level for tennis and the NOSSA level for long jump in track and field. I also am a leader for the community youth group and I volunteer in a program that talks to grade 7's and 8's about peer pressure.

Abstract:The project was an experiment to determine the most effective and efficient system used to remove radon from basements. A model home was built and tested using carbon dioxide gas to gather comparative results. Building a sub-slab filled with gravel and using a fan to create a negative air pressure within the sub-slab was the most effective system.
