Apart from that I enjoy volunteering, tutoring, reading and traveling. Im also a member of the Duke of Edinburgh program. Sommaire:Our project studied whether a compound of EGCG and DHA would have beneficial effects on atherosclerosis and hypertension. Our compound was well absorbed into liposome lipid bilayer, with a mean absorbance rate of 72%. Our compound encouraged dilatation and inhibited contraction in a rat-aorta model, indicating that it's a vaso-dilator. It also inhibited angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) activity by 100%, demonstrating significant anti-hypertensive effect.
