Biographie
Hi, my name is Mary-Lou Angidlik. I am from Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. I am in grade 10, at Maani Ulujuk Illinniarvik. I like listening to music, dancing, going for walks, shopping, and learning new things. This is my second time going to the CWSF. The first time I went to the CWSF was in 2007, and I was just about to turn 14 years old. I did my Science Fair project on Arctic Plant Medicine, and won an Agriculture/Agri-food award along with $500. My career plan for the future is to go to a college or university to study science.

Région:Kivalliq
Ville:Rankin Inlet, NU
École:Maani Ulujuk H.S.
Sommaire:The purpose of my study was to find out which community in the Nunavut has the most diabetic people. I did this by calling up the health centers in each of the communities. I concluded that Rankin Inlet has the highest percentage of diabetic people and that all communities in Nunavut have rates of diabetes lower than the national average.
