Biographies
Breanna - My name is Breanna Lynn Waye and I am a grade 10 student at Notre Dame C.S.S in Toronto. I have a passion for movies, reading and music. Some of my favourite movies are Edward Scissorhands, Donnie Darko and A Clockwork Orange and one of my favourite books is Trainspotting. I would have to say my favourite subjects in school are Math and French. I love children, animals and simply helping others. I am a very open person who loves to learn and try new things. A couple awards I am proud to have received include a gold medal for the Canadian Mathematics Pascal Competition as the school champion and 1st place in the TCDSB “Mask Competition”. When I grow I plan to go into social sciences and possibly be a psychologist or social worker or work with those disabled and mentally challenged.
Julia Anne P. - My name is Julia Hidalgo (you can call me Jae if you want). I attend the school, Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School in Toronto, Ontario. I've tried out for sports such as volleyball and badminton in my school. I am in the enrichment program in my school and I truly enjoy it. I really like reading books and my favourite author is Nicholas Sparks because his books are just remarkable. I also play the piano at times. I usually play Disney songs from 'Little Mermaid' or 'Beauty & the Beast'. Sometimes, I just browse on facebook when I'm on the computer. I've won many sports awards such as basketball, volleyball and track back in elementary. I really want to pursue the career of medicine and to be an oncologist (those who specialize in cancer treatment) in the future. I plan on being a major in both science and math. I am an honour roll student. Most importantly, I've won the science fair award this year with my best partner, Breanna Waye!

What are the effects of Pomegranate Juice on Fruit Decomposition?
Division:Sciences de la vie / Aucun
Catégorie:Intermédiaire
Région:Toronto
Ville:Scarborough, ON
École:Notre Dame C.S.S.
Sommaire:For our project, we tested pomegranate juice on apples and pears, and predicted that the high concentration of antioxidants would slow down the decomposition process. In conclusion, the high levels of polyphenols in the pomegranate juice instead acted as a catalyst and further worsened the decomposition process.
