| Johnathan - My name is Johnathan Belisle. I was born in Sudbury, Ontario and I am now in a family of five. I have committed myself to trying new things in order to achieve a greater state of mind, awareness and knowledge. I like activities such as poetry, literature, sports, conversation (deep and small talk), spending time with family and friends and trying to see the world from many different points of view. I have always had a fascination for the world that surrounds me, incited greatly by my loving family and most notably, my recently departed grandfather. In his memory I plan to enthrall myself into the world with the benefited insight of a great and knowledgeable man. He always told me that action may not bring happiness, but there is no happiness without action. This is just one of the many events upon which I act. | | Manon - My name is Manon Bélanger and I am a 15-year-old girl from Ontario. I enjoy reading and dancing as I have been taking dance classes for nine years and have been competing in Niagara Falls. I have a passion for animals and I am currently raising money to donate to the SPCA to buy food and toys for abandoned and abused animals of all regions. Moreover, I am deeply interested in psychology and the study of dreams. I am a Pisces and therefore very imaginative, sensitive, sympathetic, generous, peaceful and ambitious. I am currently enrolled in an enriched science class and will be taking it again next year as well as visual arts and Spanish. I do a lot of volunteer work in many organizations in different fields; for example, I am an assistant dance teacher at Let’s Dance, dance studio and a cook/waitress for the Knights of Columbus at local churches. After my secondary school studies I plan to attend a university or a teacher’s college to become a teacher. My biggest accomplishment would be the award I won in 8th grade with an academic excellence grade within the school. Life is all about experiences and memories. |
