Biographie
My name is Kiana Cross. I live in a Mohawk community called Kahnawake, I’m in secondary two and I enjoy going to school to learn new things, my two favourite subjects are math and science. I love to compete in science fairs, I won 1st place in my school’s science fair, then move on to the Aboriginal Science Fair, where I then won 2nd place and was chosen to participate in this year’s Canada Wide Science fair. I also enjoy doing crafts such as knitting, crocheting, origami, beadwork, sewing, painting and drawing. I like to go cross country skiing and to compete in races. As a pass time, I enjoy to take picture and make stop motion and Claymation videos and upload them on Youtube, or as commercials on CKER the Kahnawake community television channel. I adore animals and I own a pet rabbit named Gizmo. I’m also interested in drama/theater, singing, comedy and improvisation. In the future I wish to work in the field of science, because it is a passion I have and really enjoy. I am truly grateful and elated to participate in this year’s Canada Wide Science fair.
