Abstract:We tested three commercial toothpastes and made our own to find the most effective one at eliminating bacteria. We swabbed the mouths of 12 classmates, before and after brushing, then proceeded to grow the bacteria. We calculated the amount of decrease or increase in bacteria before and after brushing.
