Biography
Aidan John McKenna was born on 5 December 1996 in Moncton, NB. Since then, he has lived in Nottingham, England; Moncton, New Brunswick (again) and Deep River, Ontario. He is the middle son of three boys. He attends St. Mary's School in Deep River as a Grade 8 student. He was home schooled for the first 4 years of his education and was allowed to advance from grade five to grade seven. His favourite subjects are math and science. For the last two years, Aidan has placed in his school grade level science fairs. He was chosen by his school to attend an author based writing workshop and the Ontario Educational Leadership Centre. He would like to study mechanical engineering. This prospective career will capitalize on his strengths in maths and sciences. Aidan is an accomplished ice hockey and soccer player. He also enjoys tennis, and all school based sports. He has been a member of the Scouting movement for 7 years. He enjoys a variety of music, books, fishing, camping, mountain biking, building and painting Warhammer 40000 models and street and muscle car models. He has traveled on three different continents including a safari in South Africa.

Abstract:An investigation into the causes, effects and removal of turbidity for drinking water in conjunction with an experimental program assessing four different methods of filtering turbidity from non-potable water. Experimental results are compared to Canadian and WHO drinking water standards and a known filtration method.
