Daniel - Hi, I am Daniel Kanis. I currently attend grade 11 of Credo Christian High School. I busy myself with hobbies such as tennis, jogging, and soccer. Of course I try to leave these off until I am finished my schoolwork. You would probably find me in the library or computer labs working with or on computers. At 15 years of age I started teaching myself to program. After High School I plan to study programming in University. The idea of Hypertos came to me as a fun way to put my web programming knowledge to use. My goal with Hypertos is eventually to outdo the old traditional Operating systems. As engineer of Hypertos I personally manage the nuts and bolts of how the system works. In the future we hope to implement great user interfaces and apps. Although this project took a year to build, it still was the best experience ever. If you are interested in a particular idea, build a project! Trust me: it’s fun!
Jonathan - I am a co-developer of Hypertos. I go to Credo Christian High School, in grade 11. I work on Hypertos and play video games in my spare time. For my future, I plan to go to school for computer programming and do something in that field. My partner and co-developer, Daniel, came up with the idea of Hypertos, wanting to make an operating system that was fast, elegant, and part of what people use in the future. Since almost everything is web-based nowadays, it uses web technologies to bring you the fastest operating system yet. Since now it runs off of the internet, we plan to make it a standalone project in the future. For others thinking about a project, think about something you want to research, experiment, something you would like to have but doesn't exist yet, or improve upon something that already exists. Whatever interests you, go ahead and do it.
