Division: | Sciences de la santé / Innovation environnementale | Catégorie: | Sénior | Région: | Prince Albert & Northeast Saskatchewan | Ville: | Weldon, SK, Kinistino, SK | École: | Kinistino School | Sommaire: | Our project is an environmentally friendly innovation that investigates the use of pykrete as an eco-insulator in a sustainable cattle shelter. We focused on pykrete’s low thermal conductivity. We built a scale model of a pykrete cattle shelter and temperature measurements show that pykrete may be an effective eco-insulator that could potentially save cattle farmer’s valuable dollars. |
