I named my work with this effort as SMFT (ask if interested)! This volunteer work is how I came to do my science fair project. Other facts about my life so far include: Atlantic Canadian Judo bronze medalist (current) Nova Scotia Provincial Judo champion (former) Nova Scotia Provincial Chess champion (former) # 2 rated Chess player in Atlantic Canada (grade five) Nova Scotia School Chess Team championship member (former) Co-founded a chess program for elementary students in Jamaica Play my guitar, everyday Play trumpet in the school band Run Track on my high school team Played Bantam A hockey and was second in scoring Most sportsmanlike player for my hockey team (former) Member of the Bridgewater Barracudas Swim team Really enjoy snorkeling Speak/write in English and French Solve a rubrics cube in one minute Voracious reader; favourite books are the Pendgragon series |
| Travis Landry Blanding's: A Species at Risk
Division: | Sciences de la vie | Catégorie: | Intermédiaire | Région: | South Shore | Ville: | Bridgewater , NS | École: | Bridgewater Junior-Senior High School | Sommaire: | Emydoidea blandingii is a nationally endangered species at risk. This study examined four data sets related to efforts to find the Blanding's turtle in the Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve, including my trapping session at Flanders Meadow. There were no Blanding's caught. This is important because we have limited knowledge of the distribution of Blanding's in remote areas. |
