Biographie
I am currently 15 years old, and I attend Ecole McTavish, which is located in Fort McMurray, Alberta. I am the design leader of the Infinity Robotics Team; we have recently won the provincial tournament, and now we are proceeding to the international championship. I also enjoy playing multiple sports; however, I particularly excel at volleyball, and more so soccer. I played for my school's volleyball team, and we won gold at the regional tournament. I play for my city's travel soccer team, and we have successfully competed at numerous provincial and Western Canadian tournaments. I also enjoy volunteering and benefiting my city. I am a member of MACOY and TAB, which is the mayor's youth advisory council and local library advisory board, respectively. I also regularly volunteer at the hospital, and local events. Academics are also important to me; for the past two years, I have received the Highest Average Award in my large school with an average of 99.25%. I have successfully participated at my local science fair 5 times. I spend most of my free time developing my inventions, and I have recently been focused on the Multi-Turbine VentusCapio, which I believe has a lot of potential.

Multi-Turbine VentusCapio
Défi:Énergie
Catégorie:Intermédiaire
Région:Wood Buffalo
Ville:Fort Mcmurray, AB
École:École McTavish Junior High
Sommaire:Wind turbines are promising; however, they are burdened with flaws. I have designed a novel wind energy harnessing mechanism that causes close to zero avian mortalities; in contrast, approximately one million avian mortalities are caused by the current turbines. My invention produces approximately five times the electrical output of the classic wind turbine in virtually all wind speeds while maintaining the net area.
