| I was born in Northamptonshire England, but moved to Canada with my parents and sister in 2006. My dad is English and my mom is Canadian so I have dual citizenship. I earn extra money by delivering papers three times a week. I love sports and play soccer and rugby and enjoy skiing and golf. When I grow up I want to go into a field in math or science, such as an electrical engineer of a phycologist. |

To test this I created 3 stories, one happy, one sad, and one control, then got participants to rate themselves on a happy/sad scale after reading one of these stories. I discovered that emotional contagion occurs if you read a sad story, but doesn't if you read a happy story. |
