| I'm 13 years of age and and reside in Northwestern Ontario in the community of Fort Frances, which is located on beautiful Rainy Lake. I'm a grade 7 student and am currently attending J.W Walker Elementry School and am honoured to be chosen to represent the Rainy River District at this years National Science Fair. I have always been interested in science and truly find it fascinating. My future academic plans are to attend post secondary education and focus my studies on either health care or education. I am presently taking my bronze star and hopping to eventually recieve my certificaition in lifegarding and insrtucting in swimming lessons. Some things I enjoy doing are singing, hanging out with friends, and focusing on my studies. I also enjoy swimming and running, as well as volleyball. |

I had people listen to different music genres to see if it would decrease heart rate and blood pressure. In women, any music genre decreased blood pressure while increasing heart rate. In men, all genres except Classical rose their blood pressure. |
