Biography
My name is Trent Emel. I'm 12 years old, currently in grade 7 at Evelyn Dickson Elementary in Vanderhoof BC. I enjoy the outdoors including hunting, fishing and hiking. I also play hockey, lacraosse, golf and snowboarding. Because of my love of sports and the outdoors I hope to one day continue my education to become a personal trainer.

Abstract:This project is based on hammering nails into six different species of wood. I used three types of hardwoods; Walnut, Maple and Mahogany and three types of softwoods; Spruce, Pine and Balsam. The purpose of the experiment is to see which species of wood requires the most force to pound a nail into.
