Biographie
My name is Tyler Tardi and I am a grade 7 student at Sunrise Ridge Elementary School in Cloverdale, BC. My favourite subjects in school are math, science and French. My hobbies are participating in school sports, solving all types of Rubik’s cubes, playing chess and curling. I curl in a competitive league and hope to represent BC and maybe even Canada one day. In the future, I plan to be an electrical engineer. I have an older brother named Jordan and we love building random stuff in our garage. We both love to invent new things or improve existing things. My garage is always under construction. After my brother went to the CWSF in 2009 in Winnipeg, I thought this was something I would like to try to do as well. I am so excited and honoured to be representing BC at the 50th CWSF in Toronto.

Go Green with R.E.D. (Rain Energy Device)
Défi:Énergie
Catégorie:Junior
Région:South Fraser
Ville:Surrey, BC
École:Sunrise Ridge Elementary
Sommaire:This project determines if it is possible to harness rain energy by directing it onto a water wheel through a drain pipe. Results showed that small amounts of energy were generated using the R.E.D.. With further optimization, this innovation may help offset the cost of having to buy electricity or could be used to run mechanical things during peak hours of electricity use.
