Some awards and achievements are, winning 4-H provincial curling, getting second in provincil public speaking, getting the tap spirit award, I've got 2nd in disricts in cross-country in grade 5, and I have got 1st place in districs cross-country in gradees 6, 7, and 8. Last year I got the oppertunity to go to Canada wide as I am this year also. I wanted to do the project that I did because after I heard that it helped us through World War 2, I wanted to bring it back. If I carried on with this project, I would need to find a way to make the gasifier more efficient so it purified the gas even more.

Abstract:My project this year is about using wood gas, (gas that is produced during the process of creating biochar) in place of fossil fuels.
