The Effect of pH on the Growth of Marigolds

Germination, height and number of leaves were recorded for 6 weeks. Optimal growth occurred at pH 5-7. Fertilizer improved growth. Limestone improved growth in acid soils. Neither prevented the effect of abnormal pH. |
