Jane Last is a 15 year old student at Foam Lake Composite School, located in Foam Lake Saskatchewan. She lives on a grain and animal farm about 30 minutes from Foam Lake. Currently in grade 9, she enjoyed the experience of attending CWSF last year winning a bronze medal and special award. Her hobbies include singing, writing, sports (badminton), horseback riding, drama, 4-H, reporting and track. Jane is the eldest of two children, and the daughter of Thomas and Karen Last. Jane plans on getting a post-secondary education after completing high school. She is interested in getting a degree in medicine (obstetrics) or zoology. She has attended science camps for numerous years while growing up, participated in various educational programs and won regional awards in public speaking through 4-H. She has a great interest in the scientific word and enjoys following world events. Jane is looking toward a bright future in a scientific career. |

A prototype was developed to increase the ease of supplying the necessary nutrients for treatment of scours. This prototype proved to be more durable and thus increased efficiency and overall feasibility of cattle management when compared to traditional methods of scours treatment. |
