Biographie
Alex is a very dedicated and hard-working student. He is involved in variety of school activities and community services. Alex is part of his school's debate and world politics society clubs and shows leadership in both clubs. He is also the chair of an International Medical Aid association which is part of the larger commmittee, Inter-act. Alex has also been part of the school's volleyball, basketball, track&field, and golf teams. He was named the co-captain for his volleyball team, a starter for his basketball team and the MVP for his golf team. Alex has also shown academic promises. He won gold medal for the Galois mathematics contest and came first in his school for virtually all math contests held at Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary before he moved to Semiahmoo in grade 11. As well, Alex participated in the UBC physics olympics, Kwantlen science challenges and B.C.'s Brightest Mind Competition along with his school teammates. Alex, one day, hopes to become a neurologist.

Sommaire:A spectrophotometric study done to find different concentration of chemical xylene in different samples of markers. Experiment consisted of testing different colors and different brands and a comparison to pure xylene concentration. Preliminary conclusion is that darker shades of colors and certain brands have more xylene than others. Goal is to have a label warning students on permanent marker products.
