My name is Carina Fascinato and I am in grade seven attending Notre Dame Catholic School in Owen Sound, Ontario. My favourite subjects in school are science, mathematics and art. I am a member in my school band and play the saxophone. I also play the piano, guitar and sing. I do many forms of dance such as highland dancing, ballet, jazz and hip hop. I compete in highland dancing all over the world. When I am older, I would like to be Chiropractor because I have always been interested in human anatomy with special attention to the human spine. I like the fact that they are natural doctors that focus on wellness to help remove pain and improve health. In grade five, I participated in the Bluewater Regional Science and Technology Fair where I won a gold medal and other special awards. My science fair project was published in the "Canadian Chiropractor" magazine in 2010. This year, I am honoured to represent my region at the Canada-Wide Science Fair in 2012. I have always had a passion for science fair projects and I hope to do many more in the near future. |
