Biographie
Christine Ingham is 13 years old and is in grade seven at West Pictou Consolidated School in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. She has been in French immersion since grade four. She enjoys horseback riding, reading, playing Wii games and making cards. Christine also likes playing soccer in the spring and fall. Christine recently started babysitting, and took a babysitting course over March Break. She cares for dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, and cows when their owners go away. Christine plays clarinet in her school band and has been taking piano lessons for six years. She plans to be a French teacher when she grows up.

Abstract Christine Ingham West Pictou Consolidated, Pictou, NS This project tested how reaction times varied, testing without a cell phone, with a cell phone and using a hands-free device with the cell phone. The reaction times were measured using a reaction time test on the computer. Cell phone use, both hand-held and hands-free, was statistically shown to slow reaction times.
