Do String Players Have Longer Left Fingers?
Division:International
Category:Junior
Region:Fraser Valley
City:Langley, BC
School:Langley Christian
Abstract:My project is answering the question: Do String Players Have Longer Left fingers than people who don't play strings? My hypothesis was that string players have longer left fingers because stress causes osteoblasts to produce more bone. My procedure was to measure each finger of a number of people, calculate the average finger length and analyze the data statistically.
