Biography
I am a fifteen-year-old Grade 9 student in the TOPS program at Bloor Collegiate Institute, with an interest in science, writing, and psychology. I was awarded third place in the Toronto PUG architectural program for Grade 8 students, as well as winning several awards for my writing, including a certificate commending my essay writing ability from the Ontario Provincial Liberal Association. I am a lover of technology and its ability to improve life for people all over the world, as well as its ability to answer questions about life that have been discussed by scientists and philosophers for centuries. I have maintained two websites, including a moderately successful repository of "Stickman" art and animation. I plan to pursue a career in technology or science, where I can work to advance technology and its ability to enhance people's lives.

Abstract:Focusing on questions of authority, and its effects on ethical decision-making, this project builds on the work of Stanley Milgram, extending his research with a unique approach to understanding ethical decision-making. The project compares the two types of authority that affect ethical decision-making: authority held by oneself, and external authority. My results are intriguing, revealing new insights into the impact of age on decision-making.
