Biography
I am a grade 11 student from Father Michael Goetz. Within my school, I am part of a club called Campus Ministry which deals with sorting donated goods for charity and preparing liturgies for the school community. For the last two years I also have had the highest average in my grade. Specifically, my overall average last year was 98.69% and it happened to be the highest average in the entire school. Two of my passions are science and mathematics as these subjects hold a special place in my heart. For the longest time, I have always aspired to pursue a career that involves these two fields. As well, every year I try to participate in the math contests and science fairs that my school has to offer. I also enjoy volunteering at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga and have been a volunteer there since the summer of 2010. It is quite rewarding and humbling work that allows one to gain an appreciation for one’s health and life. Overall, I am often described as a person who can easily go from being serious and focused to silly and lighthearted depending on what the situation demands for.

Abstract:The experiment tests students’ short-term memories on certain days of the week and times of the day. Additionally, the performances between genders on auditory and visual memory tests, chunking, and remembering difficult words are analyzed. Students between ages 15-18 participated in auditory and visual memory tests throughout the week. Overall, there were strong correlations between the factors that were looked into and the results.
