| I was interested in this project because I go school next to an estuary called Green Slough and I wanted to see what would happen to the plants that grow around Green Slough if salt water intrusion happened. Salt water intrusion will be more likely to come upon Ladner because of the climate change which is feeding more salt to the Fraser river. For future investigations of this experiment I would test different types of plants and use water from the ocean, fraser, and multiple estuaries. Some advice I would give to other students thinking about doing an experiment would be to choose an experiment that captures your interest and to always make sure your measurements are exact. |
