Biographie
My name is Emma Kristjanson and I am a grade 8 student from the Foam Lake Composite School. Some of my community activities include Dance, Air Cadets, and Volenteens. Some of my interests includ photography, art, and I also like to paint nails (fingers and toes). I love to swim, play volleyball, ride quads or dirt bikes and play the violin, piano or guitar. For my project, I got the idea of it my project when I went to take my German Shepherd puppies for their worm shots. I wondered what they got worms from and how they got worms. If I was to then continue my project I would make a healthy dog food that does not create worms. My advice to other student is make sure you work hard because it will soon pay off no matter how hard the task is. But success will take a lot of patience. It is also important that you know what you are doing and pay close attention if someone is helping you improve your project. Finally, you will make mistakes no matter what. It will always bite you in the butt when you least expect it.

Do You Want Worms With That?

Sommaire:In this project, I am attempting to determine if dry dog food is the reason why dogs have worms. I decided to do this experiment because I wanted to know why dogs get worms and how it affects them. I discovered this idea when I took my puppies for their yearly vet check.
