Last year, I was chosen to participate at the Regional Science Fair where I got the Genome Prairie Award and a chance for my project to be exhibited at the Provincial Winner’s Showcase. It is an honor and an opportunity to be present at the Canada Wide Science Fair this year. Abstract:This project studied the vaccine Gardasil given to girls of grade 6 and 7 at six schools in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The participants completed a questionnaire. The results concluded that girls view this vaccine as a health-benefit, and therefore most of them have been vaccinated, experiencing minor side-effects. The main reason for their choice is parental-influence and more education on this vaccine is required.
