| My name is Jennifer Brown and I am a Grade 9 student at Greenall High School in Balgonie, Saskatchewan. I have a variety of extra curricular interests including soccer, writing and music. Animals are one of my true passions and I love to spend time with mine and everyone else’s pets. I am also an avid reader and enjoy historical fact and fiction and fantasy fiction. My family tells me I have “the gift of the gab” and I guess that’s true as I have won several Optimist oratorical awards and participated in debate tournaments at the regional and provincial level. I love to learn and enjoy most of my classes, but science and math are the subjects that really interest me. I see a career in the science or math fields but exactly what is still unknown. Perhaps engineering? Last year I was chosen to participate at the Regional Science Fair and I feel privileged to have done the same this year as well as being chosen to represent my region at the Canada Wide Science Fair. I am looking forward to this experience with anticipation and excitement. It’s going to be a blast! |
