After I graduate from high school I plan on going to university to go into nursing. I got my inspiration for this project from other students who have done it before. I'm going to continue to collect data and do research for this project until I've graduated in 2015. My advice to students is that you can achieve anything with hard work and commitment.

My hobbies are golfing and soccer, I am very interested in science and I am planning to become a biochemist after when I am graduated school. I got my inspiration on my project from my science teacher that told us about it when students from 2007 started this project, and it concerned us about our water for the future and to see what we can to do to make a change, Kayla and I plan on carrying on this project till we graduate. My advice to other students is that hard work does pay off when you put your mind to it.

Abstract:Lake Winnipeg, in Manitoba, is the 13th largest lake in the world and the 7th largest in North America. Over the past decade eutrophication has become a growing problem with the lake. This project investigates the levels of nitrates and phosphates in the river that flows through our community and then into Lake Winnipeg, with the hope of contributing to the dialogue on the issue.
