| My name is Skylar Barkhouse. I am 14 years old and I attend Bayview Community School in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. My favorite recreational activities are basketball, bicycling and swimming. This summer I plan to be a junior lifeguard. I hope to become an instructor and help children learn to swim as my first summer job. I enjoy singing and acting at my school and church. After my first few dental appointments as a young child, I knew I wanted to become a dentist. I want my project to help me in my career. I am doing this in the most technologically advanced way I can. My app 'Smile', makes dentistry mobile. It allows medical files to be mobile and helps patients improve their dental health with personalized notifications from their dental professional, post-procedure care, and a space to record oral hygiene. I plan to put 'Smile' on the app store. |
