Biography
My name is Benjamin T. Groisman, I am a seventeen year old who has a passion for cancer research and an entrepreneurial spirit. The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary, so I am involved in various ventures, across different fields of personal interest. I live by the quote "If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when?" and I truly believe that the biggest gift in this world is the gift of life; and the key to succeed in it is happiness.

Abstract:Focal Adhesions (FAs) are sub-cellular structures that are key components for metastasis, cancer cell migration. By treating cancer cells with a molecule know to inhibit the enzyme that regulates FAs, called Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK), I was able to prevent cancer cells from spreading. Subsequently, I proved that the drug I used, Reversine, controlled cancer cell migration, making it an anti-metastatic drug.
