Simon - Currently a student at Champlain Regional College Lennoxville, I attended high school in Sherbrooke at the Seminaire de Sherbrooke, a French institution. I have lived in Sherbrooke for most of my life, although I was born in England and have lived a year in France and a year in Australia. I am also half Italian. In the last year of high school, I participated in the school stage to Peru for 2 and a half weeks. In CEGEP, I am a Cougar Ambassador, responsible for the welcoming of new students. I am also a tutor, both for the school and volunteer, mainly in math and physics. My interests include sailing and reading, as well as almost all amateur sports. I also represented my region at the Quebec provincial curling tournament, a sport I have practiced for now 5 years. Next year, I will be attending McGill University in mechanical engineering. I am also nominated for Valedictorian of my graduating class.
Tiffany - I am currently a student in my last year at Champlain Regional College Lennoxville, and I attended high school in the Gaspesie at Bonaventure High School. I lived in the Gaspesie for 17 years until I moved to Lennoxville for Cegep. In high school I participated in a lot of sports, grad committee and dance lessons. As well during my summer break for the last sever years I have volunteered for a bible camp. Since I’ve been in cegep I have also done some volunteer work which includes being a Cougar Ambassador. A Cougar Ambassador is a person who welcomes new students to the school and gives tours to people who might go to the school. I am also a tutor hired by the school to help science students in chemistry. As well, I am a residence advisor which means that I am in charge of a building at the Champlain residences. I have to hand out rent receipts, organise activities, and solve common roommate problems. I am also on the student council at the college. My pastimes include reading, playing sports, and helping out friends with school work. Next year I will be attending McGill University in Biology.
