Biography
My name is Aisha Lillywhite. I was born, and now reside in the Calgary area. I am in the eighth grade at Red Deer Lake School, Alberta and have achieved Honours with Distinction and the overall Highest Grade Point Average Award. I recieved the 2010 Science Award. My favourite subjects are Science and Mathematics. I am a part of the Junior High Leadership Committee. Outside of school, I spend most of my time dancing. I take formal classes in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary/Modern and Jazz. I completed my Grade Five ISTD Ballet Exam receiving Distinction. In March 2011 I completed my Intermediate Foundation RAD ballet exam. Currently I volunteer as an assistant ballet teacher. I perform with a pre-professional dance company, Corps Bara Dance Theatres. Some of my performances include A Time For Everything at Vertigo Theaters, Project Dance Toronto, Body as Text at Vertigo Theatres, performances for local charities, schools and churches. I have had the privilege of dancing with the University of Calgary in a professional performance of Alice in Wonderland. I danced the lead role of Alice. Dance is a part of my future goals. My post secondary career plans are to attend university and study Medicine.

Bacterial Presence and Contamination of Washed Hands

Abstract:The purpose of this project was to find an effective way to reduce the risk of contaminating washed hands when Air Hand Dryers are used in public washrooms, while gaining the economical and environmental benefits. Statistically significant data obtained from testing air quality samples, air disturbance and air displacement; indicate increased bacterial counts and potential contamination of washed hands when Air Hand Dryers are used.
