Biography
Growing up in the rockies......... Well for one, there are a ton of sports opportunities. Up until I was ten, my parents owned one of the two candy stores in the hamlet of Lake Louise. Maximum population; 2000. I remember waking up at 8, and rushing out the door to catch first tracks, (this involved groaning on my part, but the snow was worth it!!) I compete in Karate, although besides a recent second place, I haven't had to much success. I recently acheived my yellow belt, (the order is white, orange, blue, yellow, green, brown, black, with one stripe in between each). I spent the first half of the school year playing on the schools travel volleyball team. My favourite subjects are Outdoor Ed. and Gym. Academically, my favourite subject is LA. I haven't volunteered much, except for spending a few days at the local horse stables last summer. In university, I'm planning on getting my law degree and becoming an environmental lawyer. I love to read, and have read just about every vampire book out there. I prefer fiction to non-fiction.

Abstract:My project was based around the theory that the force of gravity could be used to power a ski lift. My intention was to build a completely environmentally friendly ski lift. Gravity is a force that is generally overlooked by scientists, although every person on this planet is affected by gravity every day. I don't believe it has been used to its full potential.
