Abstract:This experiment tested if cognitive skills tests are a good indicator of one’s academic performance. Some subjects were chosen to complete a cognitive skills test. It was predicted that there wouldn’t be a correlation between the test and academics. This was correct; there was not a correlation. In conclusion, when trying to determine one’s intelligence abilities, cognition shouldn’t be used alone, but combined with academics.
