Biography
My name is Kayleigh Ng. I am a 14 year old, 8th grader attending The St. Lawrence Academy in Brockville, Ontario. I play the recorder and love singing in the choir. I also enjoy playing sports at school such as basketball, rugby, and running track. My hobbies include cooking, boating, playing the ukulele, four wheeling, traveling, and shopping. I won in my very first duathlon. I was very excited to have won Best of Fair- Junior at the Rideau St. Lawrence Regional Science Fair this year as well as last year. This is my second time attending the Canada Wide Science Fair. I really enjoyed going to Winnipeg last year and am looking forward to attending this year in Peterborough.

Abstract:This project was to determine whether it is easier to clean straight or crooked teeth. Teeth were arranged in either a straight or crooked arch form. Food was applied to all surfaces of the teeth. The teeth were then stained and brushed with a Sonicare toothbrush. The amount of food remaining was then measured. The straight teeth were easier to clean than the crooked teeth.
