| Hi, I'm Neha Siddhartha; an honours student in Grade 8. I am involved in various after-school activities, such as the violin and Tae Kwon Doe. During last summer, when I was thirteen, I was accepted as an employee at a local fast food joint. This is the first time that I have been selected to go to the CWSF, and I am very proud to represent both my home city, Miramichi, and province, New Brunswick. |

With the permission of the principals,teachers and parents of each elementary school, the students' weight and height were tested, and afterwards their BMI was calculated. All identities are confidential, and the children were not told any of their own or others' results. |
