Biography
My name is Hailey Beaudry. I was born and still live in Fort Frances, Ontario, with my sister Tory and my parents, Kim and Guy. I have a cat named Allimo and a dog named Ranger. I am in Grade 7 at J.W. Walker School. School is fun for me. I enjoy all subjects. I play the flute in the band and the guitar for pleasure. In the school play I am a “princess in training” and a “step sister”. At this time, I have no career plans. My favourite sports are hockey, soccer, curling and running. In hockey I play defence but in soccer I like to play forward. This year, I curled with the Muskie (FFHS) curling team. I love to run and have been competing in cross country and road races for the last three years. In the last three races I have ran I have placed in the top two. I love to travel. My family and I have been to Mexico four times. We also love to go to the lake. I like to fish. I caught a thirty-eight and a half inch Northern Pike which now lives on the wall in our cabin.

Abstract:Chlorine is added to water to protect humans from bacteria. The purpose of this experiment was to see if chlorine has a positive effect on plant growth. Six solutions (different amounts of water and chlorine) and three different types of plants were used. Solution 4 made the plants sprout faster but then stopped their growth. Only the plants hydrated with distilled water survived.
