Biography
I am a 14 year old grade nine student in Nova Scotia. I enjoy playing sports as well as music. I have played basketball for the past 7 years, volleyball for the past 3 years, done track and feild for 4 years and I also golf. I currently am the Nova Scotia Midget Girls golf champion. I love music. I sing, play guitar and write my own songs. I have performed on the radio several times, been on TV, performed at the Deep Roots Music Festival, recently placed fourth in CBCs School of Rock Solos competition, and also sometimes sing the anthem for Acadia University sports. My favorite bands are Hinder and Shinedown. I also am in our school's drama club, on the yearbook commitee and I am member of our spirit club. I have volunteered for lots of different events and organizations including the VON, the SPCA, fundraisers for Haiti, CTV Christmas Daddies, Kinsman Christmas Radioathon, and I will be performing in an upcoming Relay for Life. I enjoy science, and am not yet sure what I would like to do as a career. I am hoping maybe somewhere in the music buisness.

Abstract:Sounds Good to Me is a project about microphones and the variables that affect thier functionality. I looked into the five main types of microphones and how they work, and built a condenser microphone to further understand how microphones are put together. I gained lots from this project and enjoyed doing it, as I love music and also enjoy science.
