Biographie
My name is Olivia Merlin. I am a grade 9 student attending Pugwash District High School. My hobbies include playing lots of sports and reading. When im not in the classroom you will probably see me kicking a soccer ball around or shooting some baskets in the gym. I have went to science fair regionals all 3 of my junior years and this is my first time attending nationals. The inspiration for this project came from my love of building and engineering. My brother and father both use keyboards and mice alot for entering data so I thought I would like to build something for them that made this more comfortable. Some advice I would give future students thinking about doing a project would be, make sure you do your project on something you love and can talk about for hours.

Building A More Ergonomic Keyboard
Défi:Innovation
Catégorie:Intermédiaire
Région:Chignecto East
Ville:Westchester, NS
École:Pugwash District High School
Sommaire:I built a mechanical keyboard (that plugs into a computer) that is more ergonomic and can help people that have to work at a computer for extended periods of time. I optimized the button layout, I particularly placed the number pad on the left side. This allows your hands to come closer together while doing work, therefore reducing the risk of RSI.
