I am a grade 11 student at Horton High School in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. I have been writing computer programs for approximately 4 years. For the second year in a row, I was the regional winner for Eastern Canada in the University of Waterloo's Canadian Computing Competition. After high school I plan to pursue a degree in computer science. This summer I will be participating in the five-week Explore program at Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point, Nova Scotia. This is my second Canada-Wide Science Fair. |
| Tim Cooper swn: a multi-purpose scripting language
Division: | Engineering & Computing Sciences | Category: | Senior | Region: | Annapolis Valley | City: | Wolfville, NS | School: | Horton High School | Abstract: | As a computer programmer, I use a variety of computer languages, with each language having a different syntax and set of features. I felt a need to create a multi-purpose scripting language that had a syntax I was familiar with combined with a useful set of features. My intention is to make the language available to other programmers, allowing my project to grow and develop. |
