Biography
Hi, my name is Savanna Enright and I am 14 years old. I attend St. Michael`s School in Douglas, Ontario. I live on a dairy farm and along with 4 other high school students and my uncle, we milk 180 Holstein cows twice a day. I am involved with many sports including hockey, volleyball, cross-country running and track and field. Throughout the year, I also belong to 4-H clubs such as the Dairy Calf Club, sports club, baking and photography clubs. My favourite school subjects are art, gym, science and history. I like to spend time outdoors, hangout with my friends, travelling and shopping. I was inspired to do my project because I wanted to do something useful that would help to keep our calves healthy. I also wanted to build a structure to become more familiar with building an item. To investigate my project further in years to come, I would like to monitor the cows that were fed using our old method as compared to using the new method.

Abstract:I created a system that mixes together milk replacer and water. This system reduces time in mixing the formula for calves and allows for the precise measurement of water and milk replacer. This means a healthier and better producing milk herd in years to come.
